Keyboard shortcuts
Overview
There are three kinds of shortcuts: screenshots (a global hotkey that works in any app), quick phrases (one global hotkey per phrase), and the rich-text editor (while writing documents).
Screenshot shortcut
- Default: macOS
⌘1/ WindowsCtrl+1. - Pressing it goes straight into region capture (no need to switch to the app first); you then land in the annotation window.
- Change it: on the screenshot page click the shortcut, then press the new combination in the “Set screenshot shortcut” dialog (a modifier key is required,
Esccancels). You can also turn the global hotkey off.
Quick phrase shortcuts
Each phrase gets its own hotkey:
- Open that phrase’s edit dialog;
- Click the Shortcut field to start capturing, then press the combination (a modifier key is required);
- If it clashes with an existing shortcut, the app tells you which phrase already uses it.
Press the hotkey while the cursor is in any app’s input field and the phrase is typed straight into it.
